Relationships with other agencies
Glyph Wardens
The Uncials support themselves as glyph poachers, making them the natural enemies of Glyph Wardens.
Cryptographer and actor Niles Cartouchian confirms that he personally designed the computational security protocols featured in the action-adventure film Dard Hunter, Glyph Warden.
Glyph Wardens rescue litter of abandoned baby glyphs during raid on math lab, vow to use all the powers of their office to find good homes for the glyphs.
Chicxulub Chips
The Uncials eat a lot of Chicxulub Chips.
Chicxulub Chips is a brand of snack food, consisting primarily of tephra from the Chicxulub crater.
Propinquity Associates
The Uncials sometimes beat Propinquity Associates to the punch, and there is a certain amount of playful but murderous donnybrooking, with the Uncials getting the worst of it, every time.
These outbursts of violence are inevitably followed by the ritual drinking of Extract of Radium, and the usual resulting incidents of scrimshaw abuse.
Here again the Uncials keep getting the worst of it, with Propinquity Associates at least having the sense to vomit up that last unwise shot of hemlock and Extract of Radium (see Mispent Youth).
Petasos
The hat-wearing alleged supervillain Petasos has formed (and broken) alliances with The Uncials on several occasions.
Mispent Youth
The transdimensional cocktail Mispent Youth is popular with The Uncials.
Columbo
The Uncials have a hate-love relationship with One More Thing, the artificial intelligence based on Columbo.
Aldermania
Several of the Uncials are notorious for repeated and extreme bouts of Aldermania, the abnormal psychological need to be an Alderman (nonfiction).
In the News
"EL-CACZ" (commonly stylized as "EL-CACZ!") is the battle cry of The Uncials.
The Uncials, while illiterate, enjoy art. Hot Still-Scape for Six Colors - 7th Avenue Style (1940) by Stuart Davis is a particular favorite of many Uncials.
Book of Kells wants to make clear that it has nothing to do with The Uncials.
Group of Uncials, ready to play some Dungeons & Dragons.
