My paternal grandmother, Mae Jones, was the best Scrabble player I ever faced. (Granted, I'm not a strong player, despite a large vocabulary.)
She once played "ZINNIAS" on the first play.
Grandpa was good too. I'm told that he and grandma would play against each other and routinely score over 400 each.
