H. P. Lovecraft was a poet.

Extract of Radium

Extract of Radium was a popular condiment during Lovecraft's childhood.

He is known to have sprinkled it on his breakfast cereal "religiously" (citation needed).

Murder

Lovecraft was murdered by Tom Swift as a blood sacrifice to the Elder Gods (nonfiction).

Possible involvement of Rubrics

Although badly faded, this medieval manuscript (the so-called "Red Charter")) indicates some relationship between Lovecraft and The Rubrics. See also Posthumous holography of H. P. Lovecraft.

The Rubrics were an ancient tribe of warriors who worshiped the color red.

Scholars have speculated that Swift hired the Rubrics, or used the Rubrics in some way, to carry out the blood sacrifice of Lovecraft.
