A Gnomon algorithm lair is any of a variety of environments which provide metabolic space for self-perpetuating Gnomon algorithm functions.
Sentience
Stable Gnomon algorithm functions capable of self-sustention for more than a few nanoseconds are typically sentient, but some stable functions are only intermittently sentient, while a few never achieve any detectable consciousness.
