Partially rusted golden ammonite, presumed to be the work of Gold Ruster. Although the value of the gold is lost, the resulting "rust" often has a beautiful iridescent sheen.

Gold Ruster is an anti-hero with gold-related super-powers.

He has the power of causing gold to "rust".

Gold Ruster and Gnotilus and are mortal enemies, and have fought on many occasions.

Nonetheless, during occasional peace treaties, they have joined forces as a crime team.

Various objects made of gold have made attempts on Gold Ruster's life, the most persistent of which is an artificially intelligent gold ring bearing two ducks and the name Ramses IV.

Gold Ruster is believed to traffic in the alleged exotic material Corinthium.
