A Callisto cuddle sponge is a fictional alien organism which plays a brief but critical role in the novel Flow My Tears, The Policeman Said by Philip K. Dick.
In an early scene, a spurned mistress throws a "gelatinlike Callisto cuddle sponge with its fifty feeding tubes" on the protagonist, nearly killing him.
