Bad Apples
I find the phrase "a few bad apples" — an ironic imputation that most or all cops are bad apples — wearying.
I believe that most cops are not bad apples. They are good apples, spoile by bad apples
But if most cops were bad to the core, things would be much, *much* worse, and there would be no hope whatever.
America is shuddering with racist fever dreams, but is there hope?
