The Eel Discovers Time Travel is a well-known illustration of art critic and alleged supervillain The Eel.
He appears surprised, or even astonished, holding up his right hand in front of his face.
A device resembling a miniature sundial is strapped to his right wrist. It is widely believed that this "sundial" is a portable wormhole generator: a device which allows The Eel to travel in time.
