1165: Rabbi, philosopher, astronomer, and physician Maimonides condemns crimes against mathematical constants.
1641: Didacus automaton names Maimonides as "my greatest influence."
1848: Physicist, mathematician, astronomer, inventor, and writer David Brewster invents new class of Gnomon algorithm functions.
