Earliest known police report on The Adulteration of Bergamot.

The Adulteration of Bergamot is a lost erotic novel by Charles Grey, 2nd Earl Grey.

History

The Earl apparently wrote The Adulteration of Bergamot as a private erotic tribute to his successful passage of the Reform Act of 1832 while indulging the erotic transports of his beloved Bergamot essential oils.

No copies are definitely known to exist [as of 23 July 2021].

However, several copies are believed to exist in private collections.

John Brunner says that he knows -- but cannot prove -- that Euphoriolanus owns at least one copy, and possibly more,

Brunner furthermore charges that Euphoriolanus is running a secret Bergamot adulteration laboratory.
